Oh, really? Try this on for size: recently, a plane registered and owned in Ireland crashed into the mountains in Egypt, killing everyone on board. They requested an emergency landing before crashing, and there’s no evidence of any foul play. So clearly it was a tragic accident, right? Hell no, according to the commenters–it was the Muslims, I tell ya! THE MUSLIMS!
That’s just about every Irish news site, every day.
I live in Texas, political views don’t get worse than here ._. I bet I could look up an Irish news site and not even be phased, lol.

It’s especially funny because Fascism is on the opposite side of the political spectrum, as far right as Communism is far left, and the most notable example of a Fascist government is Nazi Germany.
Because modern-day liberalism falls on the left side of the political spectrum. And because America spent the better part of the twentieth century teaching everyone that communism and socialism were the devil’s work, the end result is a generation of people who scream “COMMUNISM!” upon seeing anything that isn’t right-wing and conservative. If you’re a liberal like me, it’s both maddening and pitiful to listen to.
I’m not from the US, but doesn’t liberalism seek freedom? So, why would they be shunned in the ‘‘land of the free’’?
