It’s so weird for me to see on her; the feral, beastly look. Consider what’s she is: Part bug, part insect. You say “in its own context”, but I’m fairly sure Chrysalis has more grimdark art than any other character in the franchise at this point, even more than ones based around cannibalistic creatures like Gilda or Discord.
There’s just something ABOUT her that makes her seem great when looking terrifying.
I love pictures like this because they give Chrysalis a very feral look, that in its own context has what I can consider a sense of beauty <3 Maybe not the most alluring pictures of her out there, no, but they have their macabre charm <3
