I will go ahead and say that losing the library was a sad but necessary step in your journey (or toy marketing). I mean with the castle and the map look how many ponies did you help… And after all you said yourself that timeline is something you should not mess with.
That said just wait till other you goes out, sneak in and say a proper goodbye to Golden Oaks Library.
