This, pretty much. lol It’s a fitting flaw for her though, imo, hence a good way to give her at least a little depth/multiple facets.
Chrysalis has always been petty and never really thinks her plans through. She usually just wings it and her over confidence gets the best of her. She never really does learn from her mistakes, because she thinks she’s perfect.
