Given the franchise’s premise, focus, and history. It’s likely 90% going to be a filly. But… we have no confirmation yet, it might not even be Skyla for all we know. Therefore they can always surprise us.
The reason why people suspect Skyla was mostly due to her colour palette resembling Cadence’s colours and the fact the toy was debuted sometime between the season 2 finale and season 3 premier. The Ponibooru Exodus also took place around the same time.
