A rifle that is full automatic is an auto rifle - such as the BAR.
A rifle that has two or more of semi-automatic, full automatic, or burst-fire is select-fire - such as the M4 carbine.
An automatic loading rifle is not an auto rifle, they are two different things…
“Auto rifle” means semi auto. Cdpaliden was using false information to remove that tag.

I do recognize the Garand as a semi auto, but derpibooru doesn’t have the tag somauto rifle we’ll do
Semi automatic is an ‘auto rifle’(Also ‘auto pistol’s), a full auto rifle is a ‘select fire’.
‘Auto’ is an abbreviation of ‘automatic’ and ‘automatic’ means that the gun automatically reloads itself when the previous cartridge is fired.
