Triflic acid
How do I type that into google?
What is it called and is it poisonous?
Better yet there are certain industrial solvents that can uncurdle milk(and destroy it) let’s see how that works psychotic smile
Oh.… but seriously, smash Spoiled Rich’s skull.
@phoenixacezero
It was just a creepy joke, after all the person we said this was asking for a joke like that

(That’s not me, but still relevant.)
No.

Point only partially conceded, given that OP’s macro text depends so heavily on the “broken” aspect of the metaphor, which is after all the crucial first step of the process; however much it might apply to Diamond Tiara in the context of, say, Silver Spoon’s steadily increasing disharmony with DT’s approach, “grinding down” would be a completely different narrative thrust to the short sharp breakage being implied here.
Strange. You just linked me a description of all the grinding steps?
Except for the first step, of course, where you cleave out extract the rough shape before you do the kind of ‘cutting’ described by OP.
This song.
I guess Tiara needed to be “broken” a bit in this episode.
Fans have wanted her to “suffer terribly” for how she treated the CMC over the years, but I like how ironically now that it’s finally happened, (lost the school election, lost the respect/fear of the entire school, lost her power, lost her best friend, and on top of that gets berated by her overbearing mother) it instead made us pity her instead, and grow to like her better then before.
It finally made her question her behavior/actions, and reflect that the path she’s going isn’t what she wants at all. It also encouraged the CMC to try to make things right with her, despite all the trouble she gave them.
I loved Applebloom’s line, “Just ‘cause she doesn’t care about others’ feelings, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t care about her’s.”
That sounded like a li’l subtle lesson for the audience (old & young) too.
A diamond can form with natural facets like that, under the right conditions, but it rarely happens in nature. Most of the time, they might be roughly shaped like an octohedron. Very rarely will the facets be so clean. They also lack the ‘fire’ of a cut diamond, which is designed so that light reflects within the diamond in just the right way.
The diamond ‘‘cutter’’ grinds down each facet on a spinning grinding surface very gradually
Uh, nnnnot so much, no.
Yea, natural form of diamond is octahedron, not the “dull, glassy, colorless, shapeless stone”.
Perfect in shape and transparency are called glassies, but they are rare.
It is said that the trials of life can make you bitter or they can make you better, and as someone who though certainly has not had the hardest of lives but also hasn’t had the easiest of lives I can say that some of the most painful things I have been through are the things that opened my eyes the most.
I believe parallel cuts are a diamond’s bane.
Diamonds, however, are more breakable than things like steel, and can be chipped if mistreated. It’s their hardness that makes them comparatively brittle.
