Y’know, Clair Corlett’s Daddy (Ian James Corlett) also did voices for the Sonic cartoons. He was Coconuts in AoStH, and was Knuckles in “Sonic Underground.”
If that isn’t baffling enough Twilight Sparkle (Tara) & Rarity (Tabitha) also voiced Koopalings in the old Super Mario cartoons to. Tabitha St. Germain also voiced the fairy in the Zelda cartoon that was shown on the “Super Mario Bros. Super Show.”
So pony is linked to not only Megaman, but Sonic, Mario, and Zelda, as well.
