Wait until she learns about follicle mites.

Better yet: Genetically speaking, only about 10% of the cells in your body are actually “you”. The other 90% are things like gut bacteria and other micro-organisms hitching a ride. Fortunately, bacteria are tiny compared to human body cells, so that 90% by number is only about 10% by weight.

That’s really weird, but I did have a similar experience, you see during biology in my freshman year of high school, my biology teacher made the students look at their mouth cells under a microscope, I was so amazed I grabbed my phone and put the camera lens on the eye piece of the microscope and now I have a photo of my cells on my phone. I find them cute.(my sister thinks I am weird, and she is most correct on that statement.XD)

I had a similar reaction when I got curious one day and examined my spermatozoa under my new microscope. It was quite a humbling experience.

Sure, skin cells are all well and good for understanding what you are made of, but you don’t get a true sense for how alive and diverse your cells are until you witness the sheer mobility of such a cell. Even if they are only partially me genetically, it is still a pretty neat thing to witness.
