by the by, did someone cath the alicorn “error” joke in this episode? seeing as they apeared in all other “rainbow power/box key” episodes…
When the reaction to those few seconds capture some people’s imaginations and the reaction is positive, that’s great! But getting riled up because some real person’s pony self has a 3 second walk-by seems more than a little ridiculous.
In fact, those three-second-scenes can cause impacts on the fandom. Ask Vinyl - now she’s featured as a McDonalds Toy.
Yeah, these comments are not promising. It’s just a 3 second blip that has absolutely NO impact on anything.
I don’t think it would be a bright idea to give episode to background ponies, because that is what they are, background ponies. Bringing them into the spotlight would make them lose a bit of their charm. Also, is it really a big problem to add a pony in the background that does nothing to the episode’s plot? Is it a big problem?
