Oh. Well then, color me wrong. lol
I loved that show as a kid, and that was a good episode too. It’s kinda sad to look back on her old shows sometimes. She was even in two episodes of “Salute Your Shorts.” So she’s done more then cartoons. She even appeared on “Cheers.”
@thps48
Yeah, some manage to avoid the Derpibooru Sonic downvote curse.
It probably helps that some don’t even know Bunnie is a Sonic character. She’s kinda obscure nowadays for those unfamiliar with the Sonic comics/cartoons. Surprisingly, she did make a cameo in Cartoon Network’s “MAD” series.
There are around three, four hundred Sonic images with a positive score, I’d like to hazard. :3
That aside, this is a cute picture. ^^
I mean, I shipped them for crying out loud!
One example that hurts me was in the show Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. There was a episode where Oblina went to spy on the humans, but believed she was a actual human. Ickis’ line “I’m never gonna see you again! I don’t know what I would do without you!” was really upsetting with Christine Cavanaugh gone. I shipped the Ickis and Oblina for crying out loud!
Further adding to the saddness, the 2-decade spanning official Sonic the Hedgehog comic by Archie Comics has ended as of last year, which was the only thing left keeping the classic Sonic cartoon characters like Bunnie & Sally around. (As well as some obscure game characters like Nack, Bean, and Bark whom Sega hasn’t used sense the 1990s.)
So sadly in a way, Christine Cavanaugh’s character Bunnie is possibly gone for good now too. (And the other SatA.M. cartoon characters too.)
I hear it’s unlikely they’ll come back in the upcoming IDW reboot Sonic comic, which is probably just going to have the game characters for the most part.
It’s sad how we lost an amazing actress three years ago to a unknown cause and no one knew where she was. And in other shows where a character she played would go close to dying, or had a loved one who died and years later, she’s gone.
Yeah, it’s still sad, even if she did retire from voice-acting 10 years ago. :(
Nope, it was always both legs.
I don’t remember any one just one robotisized leg you could mix Bunnie up with.
Well, to be fair, they are drawn more-so in the artist’s style rather then MLP-style, or Sonic-style. (I kinda prefer artists drawing characters in their own style sometimes personally.)
I don’t know, a few of the “Sonic-style” pony pics can be pretty good actually. >>759761 >>754242 Of course, it depends on the artist, and how they’re drawn.
I also assume the Sonic-haters (who sometimes troll Sonic-related pics on the site) don’t even know who Bunnie is, or that she’s a “Sonic” character.
I think it’s more because the two characters are properly represented in their natural forms instead of some undefined hybridization of ponies and anthropomorphic mammals.
Over 80 upvotes? ZOMG! THE SONIC-CURSE ON DERPIBOORU IS BROKEN! :P (Just teasing, not trying to start something… Chill…)
Or maybe Bunnie Rabbot is just more popular then the hedgehog. That’d be kinda funny sense she’s a li’l obscure nowadays. (Though, she still appears in the official “Sonic the Hedgehog” comic series by Archie Comics.)
