Good point. Literally every pony is speciesist to an extent, with the notable exception being Argyle and Sunny. This abnormal behaviour could definitely be explained away if he were the long lost Son of Twilight Sparkle.

thats what im getting from this too. Would explain how come her dad is not racist and/or specist like the others because he understands what is being taught in society isn’t true, based on his mother’s teachings.
