@ColdGoldLazarus
Yep, I saw that and that’s the kind of opinion I would like to see more often. I mean fanon isn’t a bad thing. Fanon is amazing.
Fanon has no limits, it’s the leading force behind almost every type of creative work.
But I don’t like when people try to force their fanon into canon scenes.
@Background Pony #BC65
it’s actually true for all of them.
Rarity and Spike (and if you count EQG, Twilight) are the only ones who ever showed romantic feelings towards another pony.
None of the others ever did that.
You wanna know why? Because MLP:FIM isn’t based around that topic. It’s about friendships, not relationships.
Want a proof? Try to count all the couples where we by now (78 episodes) really know that they’re in love with each other.
I can only find 5. 3 of them are parents in flashbacks.
(Cakes, Pies, Rarity’s parents, Twi’s parents and Shining/Cadance)
Still think love and relationships will ever be a big topic in FIM? I think not.
To be clear: I’m not saying shipping is bad and should be banned. All I say is shipping between main characters is 95% fanon (Spike/Rarity is the only exception I can see). And I predict that it will stay that way for as long as MLP:FIM airs.
@Background Pony #BC65
Of course it does.
But just saying “well.. now we know she is into males… so she must be bisexual!” Is kinda.. desperate. :D
I mean nothing against your fantasies, but please accept that it’s nothing but fanon. That’s all I want to say in this conversation.
@patec
“fashion” and “from Canterlot” - I can’t help but notice how none of those have worked out, though. One would hope she’d eventually realize she’s barking up the wrong tree.
As for the “Stallions” part - There’s always the possibility she’s bisexual.
Now mind you, I wouldn’t want any shipping on the show, even the ships I like. But as far as fanon goes… :)
Back when I requested this pic, I wasn’t thinking of any particular character she’d be waiting for.
Rather, I was just thinking of the many times I’d been waiting for the train in snowy condition to visit my parents during winter holidays at the time.
…
Funny that somebody would stumble across this again.

Thus far, there has been a filler episode between each “key episode”. Maybe just a coincidental pattern I noticed, but my money’s on this not being a “key episode” for that reason.
I have a feeling this will have a “friends come first” theme. Maybe AJ will like him to, but in the end she will chose her friend, and not hurting Rarity.
@PonyPon
i don’t think so, maybe he is a nice guy, but AJ is not interested in him, which only motivates him more (he is a writer, they love this cliche) and gives rarity even more reasons to go insane
Same.
Edited
Indeed. :)

When it comes to Rarity, yes.
Of course it does.

Bisexuality does exist though.
bisexual? Come on, now you’re just grasping at straws ;)
“It has to be because I want it to be. Period.”

Well that ship is sunken now. Rarity is only interested in fashion stallions from Canterlot.
Applejack has none of these attributes.

I wouldn’t say “didn’t give a shit”. That implies she didn’t care one way or the other. I think “digusted” might be a better word.
umad, OP?

An apple pin, I bet
Never going to happen in MLP. Get over it.

Which means he’ll probably be a jerk.
You know, so we don’t miss him.
