Description

Starlight Glimmer was a student at Hive Academy, a school run by Headmistress Chrysalis. The school was all about uniformity and order, with Starlight being an outcast for her social anxiety and awkwardness. The other students that would mock her were Party Favor, Double Diamond, Sugarbelle, Night Glider and Pharynx, the younger son of Chrysalis herself. This made Starlight hide her emotions and became bitter over the years.
During the Friendship Games against Canterlot High, Starlight came across a bottle that seemed to absorb her anger and those around her. Celestia noticed this and tried to help her but was snapped at instead. Starlight yelled at her to be quiet about the bottle because it was the only thing that was making her not feel angry all the time for once. When Chrysalis heard about this bottle, she convinced Starlight to break it and unleash the magical energy inside to give their school an easy win.
Instead, this transformed her into Starfall Rage. Fully consumed in her anger and her magical abilities cranked up to dangerous levels. She started to absorb the energy from those around her, becoming more insane and unstable until Celestia became Celestial Dream and managed to both purify her of the dark magic and show the genuine kindness and friendship she needed all along.
Headmistress Chrysalis was fired and arrested for abuse after this and her oldest son, Thorax, took over the school. Under Thorax, the school was much happier and a much healthier environment. He even helped his younger brother learn to express himself in much better ways and be a lot kinder. Starlight transferred to Canterlot High to be closer to her new friends and has become so much happier.
She’s learned that she can express herself and doesn’t have to hide how she feels.
