Yeah I was gonna say the same thing. The way the eyes are described in the story is that they are more like telescoping goggles she wears all the time. I do believe I read recently in book 3 that she even took them off briefly.

Knowing the character, her eyes are meant to have scoping lens attached to them. She also comes from a society of psychotic amazon spartans, so she probably doesn’t care about what you think. She’d sooner sell your organs to someone.
