Would it be a bit much if it was the classic mother/father/toddler group wearing rags on the side of the road while it’s snowing outside? Because that’s how I envision it.

And then her new friends, the CMC give her a cheap plastic tiara as replacement. Then Tiara hugs them.
That would be very touching, and would add more to the character development boots she recently enjoyed.
