Derpy’s voice (the one I play) is heavily inspired by Duck from Princess Tutu! (Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a WONDERFUL anime with lots of emotion and twists and turns. One of my favorites.)
 
Also, the last frame is a joke.
 
Because sensei means both teacher AND doctor in Japanese.
