I honestly have to agree. They also act like big sisters to spike too. Even more than twilight in fact.

Applejack and Rainbow are still my favorite ponies for spike to hang out with. They’re both really cool and they’re very sweet to spike as well, ESPECIALLY APPLEJACK. I just love how well AJ and RD get along so well with spike. He deserves friends like these awesome ponies.
