Again i would like to clarify that I’ve done nothing except for coloring it, so I would like to give all credit to the original artist. I am practicing my coloring once again, I would love feed back from you all ^^ I appreciate every comment (again i am still new to coloring so please go a lil easy on me but again i still love some honesty so I’m fine with what ever you’ve got to say ^^) (again full credit to the original artist)
while I agree with you that yellow on the waterslide stands out from everything else in the picture, I would also argue that thats how most waterslides are; brightly colored to be very noticeable
Yea sorry, kinda rushed through this a lol bit, but thank you so much for the feed back ^^, (also my bad for not asking permission to work on it love the sketch so much I just wanted to experiment a bit with coloring/shadowing)
Anywho, thanks for choosing one of my pictures for this. Just one slightly major suggestion: Consider your composition. That yellow waterslide doesn’t match anything else in the image which causes it to stand out quite a lot. Vorepone’s tongue (good job on the spit effect) also stands out but that’s fine.
The way I would do it if I were to colour this is to consider the focus of the image - Vorepone herself - as the most important aspect of the whole image. That means the more vibrant colours like what you’ve used for the path should be more apparent on her than anything else, while unimportant parts like the path and the water should be slightly less saturated, causing them to draw the eye less strongly.
