Being able to embed tiny, dark crystals into somebody can be a very devastating “power” in a high school setting.
Imagine, afflicting a stereotypical image-conscious high schooler with a plague of blackheads and pseudo-pustules that cannot be treated by normal means; that cannot even be burst because they’re actually tiny crystals.
