This is kinda strange… I mean - somebody had a nice vision but some parts of this just seem odd. How did you come to the conclusion that Luna dislikes walking for miles? It’s not all that important, but for example, in my opinion, she would enjoy this activity.

Why in these stories is it always Celestia turning into a “Mad God” and now everyone has to kill her?

I’ll tell you why. Because Celestia gets results.

Luna goes crazy, she figures out a way to avoid killing her and save her at the same time. Celestia goes bad and nobody else has an ounce of her planning and foresight, so they simply can’t think of a better plan.

Celestia is just plain better. Even as a villian.
