Of course not.
What?
This is so cool. I can’t believe I’m talking to the first future serial murderer of the fandom. CX
No he’s not. Killing plants is not “murder” in any way shape or form.
By which do you mean he doesn’t like it when trees die or he doesn’t like it when images of dying trees are displayed? <_<
I think MJ is joking, though scientifically speaking he’s correct
Please tell me you’re not serious…
He IS taking lives. The lives of the trees. Tirek is a plant murderer.
“It’s okay, Tirek. I…I may have an eating problem too. Emotion eating, that is.”
“That was very brave of you to share, Chrysalis.”
You know, I think he was just clear-cutting his way through the Everfree Forest because that was the quickest route to Ponyville. Dude seemed to be in a “destroy everyone and everything in my path” mood.
murmurs in the crowd
“…I have a slight eating problem.”
But can you imagine?
“Hi, I’m Lord Tirek of Equestria…”
everyone “Hi, Tirek.”
Those guys weren’t villains, they were actors.
“I’m bad, and that’s good…”
You know what, forget I asked this.
Is “Jackie Chan Adventures” an exception?
Not every show, book, and movie. Only the ones that try to be “for kids”.
For the most part perhaps, but either way, to me it’s much more satisfying to see an intelligent foe being defeated.
Please pretend that there’s a question mark at the end of the sentence.
In reality, isn’t that what all villains are for in every show, book, or movie.
I think you’re giving him way too much credit. Like most MLP villains, he was really only constructed to be a convenient enemy ripe for defeat, not someone who actually had a long term plan.
Tirek’s goal was to take all of the magic that the ponies had so that he alone could control the environment of Equestria. He may have been destroying those trees so that if anyone wanted something from them, like fruit or lumber, they would have to comply with Tirek first.
