Pear Blossom was born in Vanhoover to two upper-class Pear family members. When she lost her parents when a bridge collapsed, her grandfather Grand Pear stepped up to raise the filly.
It took some time for Pear Blossom to adjust to life on a farm and not in a cozy penthouse with staff to wait on her every whim. She was bratty and insubordinate at first but quickly warmed up to her grandfather after he started opening up to her about her mother and aunt and learned he wasn’t a cold-hearted bastard after all. She was especially curious about the Apple family but Grand Pear still wasn’t ready to talk about them yet.
When Pear Blossom was barely a legal adult mare she lost Grand Pear, who passed peacefully in his sleep. She was heartbroken about losing her grandfather and she mourned for the stories that were just “for some other time” she never got to hear. Though, while shifting through Grand Pears belongings she found a trunk with her cutie mark engraved onto the lid, and upon opening it she was surprised by all the pictures, trinkets, recipes, and books that were left behind for her. One of the books, laid neatly on top like it was Grand Pear’s last gift to her, was a detailed account and retelling of almost every story Pear Blossom had heard/wanted to hear. She felt all warm and fuzzy while reading about her aunt Pear Butter and uncle Bright Mac, about the truth of the beginning of the feud between the Pears and Apples, and even personal stories about her grandmother, who passed before Pear Blossom was even born.
As the Pears started to scatter across Equestria after the death of their patriarch Pear was concerned as the number of cousins she could rely on dwindled. Although, like a sign from Grand Pear, Pear Blossom had somehow won a train ticket to Ponyville for a contest she didn’t remember entering–with coupons for the Apple Family’s general store stapled to it. Taking it as a sign, Pear Blossom packed up her belonging and made the move, worried her Apple relatives would want nothing to do with her.
Oh was she wrong. So very wrong. She was welcomed with open arms at Sweet Apple Acres by all her cousins which took days to introduce them all to her. There wasn’t much room for her at the farm, but Rarity and her daughter Pastiche stepped up and offered Pear Blossom a spare room at their house for her.
Currently Pear Blossom works for Miss Rarity as a fragrance specialist while trying to find her own way in life.

For her appearance I based her off of all the canon Pears I could find since there’s not very many Pears
