It’s clear that those three are made a trio on merchandise to have the three pretty pony ladies catch the eye of the little girls. In the movie, Sunny, Izzy, and Zipp are the three who know better than to give into the prejudice around them, and are closer because of it. While Pipp and Hitch take a bit to unlearn their prejudice.
I’m sorry, I don’t think I was clear. I meant that Izzy and Sunny seemed closer to Zipp than those two were to Pipp. But the merch is always Sunny/Izzy/Pipp instead.
She cares for Pipp on the inside. Just look at her subtle expressions when Pipp was in trouble.
Understandable when her phonecam sees more of her than anyone else.
