As an artist though you completely nailed it. People are looking at this and having flashbacks to earlier relationships or things that they did, or things that were done to them, that are causing a lot of strong memories.
So, this is art. Not just a beautiful drawing, but you have pierced some people’s psyches to the core with this drawing.

And, for myself, and as I mentioned earlier, I can’t imagine Trixie and Starlight having a completely healthy relationship - they’ve both had so little experience with social situations or being in relationships with others. One’s a retired cult leader, and the other is a stage performer - what should their relationship look like?
This. It should look like this. This is exactly what their relationship would be, until they both worked out what was ok and what wasn’t ok. Who knows? Maybe Starlight likes, and even benefits from this? Maybe Trixie finally has someone she can be unreserved with - maybe this is the best thing for both of them right now.

Second, please stop sockpuppeting - we can see you doing that and it really makes it hard to resolve these kinds of problems. It is against our rules, but we try to not ban people for it unless it’s a problem. Where it becomes a problem is if someone is so triggered by your sockpuppeting that we have to ban them for breaking rules, then you get banned too. And in this case it was definitely a problem. So please stop.
Third, cut out the personal attacks. Seriously - stop.
Fourth, if you can’t see these two characters in this situation without being triggered, and can’t enjoy the image if the tags bother you, filter whatever tag is causing problems for you and hide the image, and go do something you enjoy instead.
2LDR: Sometimes it seems that some of you never ever roughhoused as kids. Sometimes frustrated and inexperienced parters who don’t have adequate social skills go “too far”. Depends on the couple. In this case for me this is exactly the kind of stuff I’d expect from Glimmer and Trixie. Maybe lines get drawn. Maybe it ends up being encouraged. Everyone is different.

What we need to work out is that is this sexual assault? Judging by the look on Starlight’s face and the devious look in Trixie’ eyes then it’s more than likely is.
So the final question we need to ask ourselves is would a character sexually assaulting another character be classed as a shipping image?
