*OOC arguing
“Return of Queen Chrysalis #2”
That freaking OOC between the Mane 6… Can’t read it without cringing.
“RoQC#2”?
Well, that’s actually sad… And a better developed romance (since the romance between them was built along the arc). Then again that ending also leaves an open window to continuation.
Reflections… Well, it made sure they couldn’t get back to the Mirror World.
P.D. As much as I hate to admit it… I think Reflections is way overhated. Is bad, that’s true. But at least it had potential and gave us a new world to exploit in fanart, fanfics, etc. Besides, I still believe RoQC#2 is the worst comic.
well, let see how it happened
first they reunite (after some serious shit) and this little scene happens, then without going to much in spoilers, the guy is trapped in the vortex zone of a legendary pokemon that is going back into stone.
he knows he can’t escape, so he makes sure the girl doesn’t come close and delivers his final message to her, about how he never forgot his promise to her (and this is big deal for this guy with a super OCD that normally keep him focusing on his “i want to be champion!” dream, he has forgotten promises to his other friends in the past.)
then he wonder if he “paid his debt to her” and BAM! he is gone.
She is shocked beyond belief, hardly says he already paid his debt and tries to grab the stone, only for it to fly away, she breaks down and scream for him to return.
THE END! i hope they fix this in the B2W2 arc…
Well… I could be shocked. Both because that could be an interesting twist and it could keep the idea of “both wolrds should remain different and away from each other” that was established in the first issues of the arc.
Also… FOR REAL?! A POKEMON MANGA ACTUALLY DID RIGHT WHAT REFLECTIONS FAILED TO DO?!
…not that I’m much surprised, the manga is WAAAAY better than the anime.
let me be, i am still shocked about this ending in pokemon, foregone conclusion tells up the guy will be effectively missing for two years, we want to know how the girl will take those two years of pain.
Well, it’s not like the core plot of “Reflections” was anything new, just new for the pony-verse.
And to add in the “how it ended” version, because she knew what happened to prime Sombra and the inability to return him to good, letting go of her Sombra would be a much easier option, emotionally.
lol, is funny considering that the scenario i described happened at the end of certain manga arc some weeks ago, and that manga happens to be POKEMON of all the things.
It would still be interesting. Considering your first comment, there would be a different feel to Celestia’s sadness here. As you say in your first comment, as it happened, Sombra took his fate willingly for the better of both, and that’s a very tragic loss for Cele and one she’d move on from eventually (eg this pic). On the other hand, if Sombra was trapped not by his own, Cele would still be tryign to find some way to free him, even if crossing to that world was impossible anymore.
what would be your reaction if instead of willing going evil, good sombra was trapped in a crystal against his will and that crystal is send to unknown parts while the evil sisters are still evil?
