I don’t know, I kinda like the new Bebop & Rocksteady personally, and I’m glad to see new versions of them. I also like how they’re less “stupid” now, but still comical at times.
They’re also bringing them back in the new TMNT sequel movie. (Apparently, they’re also fixing some problems the first movie had. Like we’re finally getting real ninja foot soldiers, instead of the militant ones the first movie had, and a new Shredder.)
I assume this comment was made before the introduction of Bebop and Rocksteady, some guy from Tron and a Soviet respectively.
I’m not quite sure about that, but I think they would have a chemistry very similar to that of Raph and Casey Jones.
I know
Spike drank some mutagen/ooze and that turned him into Slash.
It’s actually very good, and they do a good job on it. Leonardo’s character/personality in particular is more interesting then previous versions.
It’s comical, without being as silly as the original ‘80s/‘90s show, but also being more serious, (and rather dark at times) like the 2003 show, only it doesn’t take itself to seriously like that show did. So the lightness, and darkness are more balanced to me. So it feels like a combination of both shows in some ways.
Also, instead of just focusing on the Mirage characters, and/or the new ones like the 2003 series did, (don’t worry it still has new characters, and returning Mirage characters to, including the Rat King & Casey Jones) it actually brings back characters from other past turtle canons like the old show, (even Irma returns) and original action figure line, but seems to be making interesting new versions of them. Some of the mutant character designs are quite creative to.
They also have an interesting take on Karai’s character, and some other returning ones. Of course, it has some new characters to, who are cool.
At a convention, Kevin Eastman (one of the original co-creators of TMNT) actually complimented the new show, saying it’s one of the best versions of the turtles he’s seen.
Probably.
So, if the TMNT were to have been tortoises, would they have looked like mutated spike?
Turtles, while spike/slash is a tortoise.
Okay, tortoise. That brings up the question, are the TMNT turtles or Tortoises
