I am trying to draw it slowly so I can get the details right. I don’t think I’ll colour the comic in but I might later if I feel like it. I did make a very long comic about them teaming up with Trixie before but I got lazy and rushed all the pictures. So this time I am trying a short story and hopefully I won’t get bored with it.

I personally find equestria girls characters easier to draw than ponies but that’s probably because I nearly always draw them. Good luck and I really am looking forward to seeing more of your pictures.

Sounds like a big project, if you ask me!

I was doing some doodling. I am trying to beat my anxiety when it comes to drawing. Also I have found lots of useful things so I can practice my art better. I’ll get started with those when I’ll get back from work today. I can’t really name anything specific now. I’ll mostly focus on making some sketches to learn the anatomy better for now. I might try my luck with some equestria girl stuff too. Of course those look a lot harder than the average pony pony to me. They are humanoid and have more moving parts after all.

You’re very welcome :)
Actually I have been working on a short comedic comic about The Dazzlings which takes place on the morning of the Battle of the Bands. The story involves Aria and Sonata trying to wake up Adagio who doesn’t want to get up. I have drawn the first three pages in pencil so I will outline them and put them up soon, maybe even later today. :) Have you been doing any drawings?

I tend to stay on the positive side of things.I thought you had some very great potential in your drawing. That Twilight you did, was simply amazing. Very adorable, great proportions, and overall great details.Yeah fandoms can be on the negative side of things but it is best to ignore. And if it helps, I look at a lot of art and I tend to think to myself, what can I do to make it unique. And with that, I continue to draw and draw and eventually it begins to improve. It takes time, but just continue to practice and eventually you’ll get better. I’ll continue to wish you the best of luck.

No worries. I just have to juggle some things I worry about like the fandom not to mention all the great art I look at. It’ll be back. I have some nice things inside me for drawing.

And thank you! I think you’ll do the same as well. ^^

I agree. While I see some great SFM stuff in general this style is unique to the show. If I had talent I would certainly try animation. I have many nice and some bad ideas to work with. But I feel the same with drawing in general. I am working on my self confidence in that area because I lost it recently. ^^’

Animation is one of the harder art forms to achieve so it’s not right that it’s looked down on. One of the things I like about this show is the quality of the animation and that it is 2D, it wouldn’t look right any other way.

Yeah, when you watch the clips in slow motion you can really see the huge amount of effort the artists put in to the animation. It must take them ages to make the animation look this good. It’s sad that it’s often taken for granted.
