At the time I didn’t realize he was the artist. He said he was an author, which didn’t mean he was the author. But when I checked the artist entry and saw the name for associated Derpibooru user, I realized he was. And the ESL angle explained the an over the.

There’s nothing strange, because they are the same word in my native language - to me, they’re both “waffles”, that’s all.
Seems strange to use waffles twice when meaning wafers though.

Darthbarf is the artist. Saying it’s sugar wafers (see what he’s replying to, too). Though the dA description said waffles.
Also this is probably the most amazing and adorable disagreement I’ve ever seen, lol. Wouldn’t quite call it an argument yet, though.
