It’s kind of a dramatic scene, so I’m hard-pressed to come up with a pithy Author’s Note, but also on top of that I’m boggling at the thought that I’ve reached almost 1800 pages!

Transcript:

Tirek: Are you *sure* you want me to release Discord? I can dispose of him myself if you would prefer that instead.
Discord: If I were in your horseshoes, Twilight… I don’t know if I’d see much value in sparing me.
Twilight Sparkle: I said what I said, Tirek. I’m not going back on my word.
Tirek: I can appreciate that.
SFX: (SNAP!)
DM: One by one, the bubbles of force lower to the ground and pop, freeing you. Unfortunately, you’re still completely devoid of any magic, so rushing Tirek would be pointless.
Rainbow Dash: That last bit was just for me, wasn’t it?
DM: Discord drops to the ground last, as powerless as the rest of you.
Discord: I don’t even know what’s going on anymore…
