Again, not canon as of yet in Siren’s Remorse, just playing around with the idea of a semi transformed Sci-Twi into Midnight Sparkle whose only a hippocampus upon going to Equestria because of Sonata’s meddling with the device. Now, if, and I mean if, it happens I could just see how greedy Adagio would get over her little weapon against the ponies and the Princess of Friendship. Sci-Twi is just hesitant and reluctant to act without testing her new form before promising anything since she became a siren herself. Seeing as she has no gemstone of her own.
You’d have to read the fanfic, essentially it starts after Rainbow Rocks and follows the Dazzlings as they return back to Equestria. Really she is at first baited with magic to use in her research and wants to learn about it, later ancient magic tricks her. In the end Empathy and seeing the sirens for who they are and not what they were made into has her going with them for many reasons, but she hopes to calm Adagio down and not bring ruin to Equestria.
