Yaks no like social satire!
I still think that this was a stab at terrorism in one way or another LOL
No no, Nanook, no no. All snow is not the same. (Not even counting that some snow is yellow.)
While it’s not really true that the Eskimos have 100 different words for snow (there are a number of Eskimo languages, for one thing, and for another many of those languages string together compound words that would make a German blush), they do have a number of different words for different kinds of snow. Fresh snow kept briefly at Ponyville temperatures would not be remotely the same as old, windswept snow from a perpetually frozen alpine kingdom.
Heck, even the griffons weren’t universally jerks, if you count Gustave. (Okay, yes, he was a bit arrogant, but no more than, say, Rainbow Dash.)
hay may be from
The thing about the hay makes sense with how you saw it as the yak hay may pe from another plant then the local hay.
Kappe is right about the snow, as they said “all snow is the same” unless there is some chemicals in abundance in the air of one place that changes it’s taste.
I guess it depends on whether “yak hay” and “yak snow” is different from what they got. I interpreted it as meaning that it obviously wasn’t the genuine article and they were pissed because it wasn’t what they were told they were getting.
I guess you could also interpret it like you did, though.
Don’t know if you’re referencing something
The yaks got friends on the other side?
Uh, no. They complained about the hay beds not being made from “yak hay” and the snow not being “yak snow”.
That’s not like an Italian being taken to Olive Garden. That’s like an Italian being served an authentic Italian dish from an Italian cookbook and complaining about the pasta being made from wheat grown in the US instead of Italy.
I felt like that resembled terrorism to a degree. LOL
Nope.
