I really absolutely love the idea that they still have a rivalry even after all these years, all these seasons. This is the kind of complex, shaded relationship that’s good to have in a kid’s show. It’s great that this ep featured those kinds of sometimes strained and competitive relationships with your family, because that’s often how it is. It’s not a binary, “I either always love you completely or hate you completely” dynamic. Good stuff.
