Painted Velvet Remedy as part of school assignment.
In case you don’t know Velvet remedy is one of protagonists in Fallout: Equestria, being a healer for the party in general, as well as helping others in need and performing diplomatic strategy.
She looks far off from popular Velvet design, I know. But there are reason for her design.
Firstly for her hairstyle, this was the first thing first to my mind when I was introduced to Velvet Remedy. This was likely influenced by Aunt Orange’s hairstyle and Rarity’s ‘boast Buster’ Hairstyle.
Secondly for her overall design, she is possibly the most ‘stylish’ character of the party in Fallout Equestria. Thus I wanted her character design like Rarity’s, but in original fashion.
Thirdly for her clothing, no one can last long in the Wasteland without clothing. Excluding special cases, like Xenith, any armor is essential to survival. Now, although armor is needed, but she feels not like a type to wander around with heavy weight clinging on her, and she do not wear armor until later on, speicified by Littlepip in the story. So I gave her a dress.
Therefore, this design of Velvet is born.

It can work, though, and the agreed-upon hair helps accomplish that
This way it’s just uncharacteristically gawdy and too high maintenance for the Wasteland
Imbecile. The word you’re looking for is imbecile.
If you’re going to make argumentum ad hominem, you really need to make sure you use spellcheck. If you’re insulting someone’s intelligence, that’s rude; if you’re trying to insult someone’s intelligence and you make it look like you can’t spell, you’re making a fool of yourself.
This Imbisall, Heck no
It never helps when you start out with something like black, red, gold, and white on what’s supposed to be a cute pastel pony.
No thanks.
