Josef Goebbels as Don ‘Barney Fife’ Knotts? That makes me think of the British sitcom (that lasted two episodes) centered around an escaped Hitler hiding out in England with Eva Braun and his troubles with his Jewish boss. Yes, that was a real thing.

I don’t read the comics, so I don’t really care. Tho I must admit, it was nice of IDW to make Trixie befriend a character who also doesn’t have any friends. Something I would like to see the show writers work on for next season.
The one IDW comic continuity I’d love to see is the Trixie/Babs friendship.
This was made before the movie, but i coincide with you.
I’d rather see the new Sunset than the rival one.
But Twilight still used her friends in Magic Duel so there’s some friendship involved. All she did was just zap off purple smokes.
Which is what TRIXIE was suppose to do casually.
That picture makes him look like Don Knotts.
Only Sunset got a face full of friendship and magic, though. Trixie just got humiliated the old-fashioned way–twice!
This was a commission, and it was pre-con (as opposed to at the con), so the requester may not have seen EQG2. Doubt it’s Andy’s fault.
(And besides, breaking continuity for a good joke is worth it :)
