Description
I put almost as much work into these accessories as I did with the actual rifle. Even the cleaning kit was cleaned up and Cerakoted.
It’s on it’s left side.
It’s a piece of pre-hardened Damascus steel.
Thats a way to have more own hand on the shape i get that. I wonder was it hardened afterwards? Whats it made of?
Yeah, I ground most of the actual shape. The mill was extremely helpful for getting somewhat close to the outline and removing material in the cutouts.
manually milled even the rounds of the blade and the back of the shape? Hard to imagine tbh or used the grinder
for all the left over radius?
I drew it on a Damascus blank, manual milled the basic shape, cleaned it up with a grinder and belt sander, then TIG welded it to the handle. The lines were engraved after it was painted.
Wow that’s awesome! Cnc machined i guess then. I’d like to know in detail how its made
The bayonet involved quite a bit of milling and welding. But I actually work as a gunsmith, so I have access to all of the shop’s equipment for personal projects on Saturdays.
Teras Kul ~ 20??
I was saying the same thing until I got a closer look.
I’m really liking that knife though.
