The homely feeling of being with someone you love, and that you know cares for you is among the greatest sensations one can feel. Working long days and then coming home to them, there’s nothing better.

She was a big part of his life, and he wanted to build his whole life around her after they found one another. While he was surely going to do just that, life had other plans.
 
Valencia specializes in healing magics that are made more potent through how much she loves Silent and many others. It could be said that they were hearts of envy among those that witnessed their affinity for one another firsthand. Many lives were saved with her strength in white magic, and she was praised by peers and community members alike for her extraordinary skills.
 
While she was wholesome and loving, she was also very naive and easily manipulated. She very much saw only the good in everyone, and hardly focused on the bad, as she wanted to nurture the positive things in those she met and ones she loved.
 
Sadly for her, her naivety ended up costing her her life when changelings targeted her for the amount of love she had to give. They tricked her with the idea that she could use a glamour to change her appearance temporarily, and she would use it to appear as Silent does, in the form of a pony with talons on their front end. The changelings ensnared her then, and fed off of all she had. When she was found by Silent later, he was devastated, and forever after he was not the same person.  
He had lost his world, and he did not know what he would do without her.
 
The changelings did not leave much behind to look at…  
Silent, as a way to honor her memory decided to keep the ashes from her cremation and turn them into a mask he would wear to conceal his emotions behind.  
Since she was the one that helped him handle all of his inner turmoils as they surfaced, he would allow her to hide them behind the mask so none could witness the troubles often written across his face. Little did he know, her magic would prevail beyond death and be contained within the mask, where she would still be able to help him and bring him comfort when he needed it most.
