I can appreciate the work that went into this so I figured I’d add some audio for you. I had to splice some parts to make it fit, so I’m sorry if it isn’t exactly the same. If you don’t like it, just let me know and I’ll have a mod take it down.
(I was always hoping at the end of the episode (as it was night), Rainbow Dash would go to sleep and when she woke up, Applejack would have somehow managed to pull the same prank on Rainbow, ending with Rainbow falling into the same pig pen.)

Quality is definitely more important than quantity in my opinion.*
As far as pixel art goes, the quality was fantastic. Movements were fluent and the graphics were good (only error I could see was the iris of AJ was outside her eyeball at the 0:03 second mark). It’s good you’re not forcing yourself and just doing what you enjoy. I always wanted to get into animating myself and put these ponies into some funny Disney movies like taking this clip Percy and Meeko and changing Meeko the Raccoon with Rainbow Dash and Percy the Dog with Rarity. It’d fit perfectly.
But I never could do it, even though I’m very artistic, because I’m 28, a landlord, have a wife and kids and a 50 hour a week job. C’est la vie.

I’ll let you know if there are any other sounds I could work in. I feel you’ll have an easier time if I work around your video. If you want to hand the audio too though, just let me know how you plan to execute the video and I can give you suggestions. I’ve never really done anything like this before.
I’m not forcing myself to do anything. I like animating and I want it to be better that the previous one, but if it’s going to be too difficult, at least I’ll try to keep the same quality.
Good idea with that clip. If you have any other sounds that you think would fit, you can send them too if you want. I will try to make enough frames for them to play without cutting.
Possibly. I wanted to avoid you having to have to animate so much (as I’m not sure how difficult these tasks are).
I can get creative with the audio. Even use something like Wait! APPLejacckkk…
Into Applejack pulling RD from her cloud into the mud (then a simple cartoon SFX splat when RD hits the mud)
Just animate and I’ll due my best to give it the audio it deserves :)
AJ could grab the cloud with sleeping Rainbow Dash with a lasso and put it low above the mud, so RD will have no time to react. Maybe then she could pull her down with that lasso, or make a loud noise to wake her up.
Dash could pretend that she is hurt, or stuck or sinking. Applejack would come closer to help, and then Rainbow would pounce on her.
If you want to add audio, just keep in mind that this one will probably be a little longer, and sounds only from this episode may not be enough. But you’ll decide when you see it.
It’s your creation. Don’t let me limit you. I agree Rainbow Dash sleeping in a cloud would make more sense, but she’d likely fly before falling such a distance into some mud (but again, she could having just woke up and not being fully alert). Maybe instead of Rainbow waking up to a pig, it could be AJ in bed (but AJ can’t sleep on clouds, which is why I didn’t think it practical). I could see a mad muddy Rainbow Dash pouncing AJ into the mud.
I could also add some audio onto your finished product and turn it into a webm like this. I have you as an artist tagged so I’ll see updates. Ask me anything if you wondering about things.

your current filter.Would that be ok if I changed some things? I’m not restricted to what happened in the episode now, so I could as well make it different. I think it would make more sense if Rainbow was sleeping on a cloud. I also had an idea that she could prank AJ back, maybe with them both ending up in the mud, where they would either fight a little or reconcile, but it’s up to you.

As for how it’d go about I never thought about it. More or less it’d be close to how the prank went with AJ. Rainbow sleeping soundly, waking up, being startled and confused, losing her footing and falling in the mud, Applejack saying “gotcha!” and Rainbow dropping her face in the mud just like Aj did.

About your idea, if you have any details, like how would Rainbow react, how would that end, or anything like that, I would like to hear it. (But I don’t promise anything ;)
