The grimdark tag is for material which has dark themes, especially if they’re very much in contrast with the style of the show. Grimdark images are spoilered by default. Stuff which would be considered grimdark include:
War and the consequences thereof
Celesta tyranting it up
Characters being dangerously insane
Torture and abuse (tag grotesque also if it’s not implied or textual)
Apocalyptic futures and alternative universes which are thematically dark
