Fluttershy?
baahh….
fuck’ershit?
yes.
Yes
Yeah whatever
Nirvana was barely grunge. Bleach most certainly was, but Nevermind was alternative rock, and In Utero was punk.
WON’T YOU COME
WASH AWAY THE RAIN
BLACK HOLE SUN
WON’T YOU COME
WON’T YOU COME
WON’T YOU COME?
Queen was amazing.
But yea, if I posted every band I liked we’d be here all night.
Yeah, I think it’s pretty hard for anyone to include all their favorite bands in one paragraph.
Oh I almost forgot QUEEN! How dare I!
I like Folkmetal, Melodic, and just plain ol’ heavy. Black Sabbath, Dio (on his solo), Iron Maiden, Tyr, Skyclad, Anvil, Man ‘o’ War, Falconer, Nightwish, Epica, Queensryche, Cryonic Temple, Blind Guardian, Disturbed, (older) Metallica, Megadeath…I listen to a shit ton of music.
Hmm…I mostly listen to electronic music and rock in general.
Rock: Megadeth, Dethklok, Interpol, and Phoenix.
Electronic: KASKADE (I love his music), Freezepop, DeadMau5, and Calvin Harris
Not sure what all those would be considered though…I’m bad at categorizing music.
Aye, plus we’ve never been “main-stream” so waning popularity won’t hurt the genre. There was a resurgence in the late 90’s, and there was also the whole “nu-metal” trend…which was a mixed bag.
I mix it up, a bit of old, bit of new.
Got any favorite bands/ sub-genres?
Hmm…I’d rather hear a bad band than a bland one. Blandness is just about the worst thing possible.
Indie and Alternative Rock seems to have taken it’s place but Metal will live on.
It’s pretty damn difficult for a genre of music to die. It takes a LONG time.
Nickleback isn’t “bad”, they are just so fucking bland. All their songs sound the same. But they are hardly the first band to be like that.
I’m worried that metal may be waning, but hay we’ve lasted this long, it’s going to take a lot to kill us. There still quite a few good bands carrying on the call of metal.
That’s why I don’t get all the whining.
