Thats why you are so interesting, Badum. You really have some amazing and wonderful thoughts about the sphinx specise. Always something to be inspired of, and learn. You make the sphinxes to a mysteriuos kind. ^^

They always tend to be the top of the food chain, at least because even against Celestia and Luna they’d be a serious threat, but in my continuity they’re a lot like dragons where they’re for the most part aloof rather than being predatory or anything like that. They basically claim a plot of land and declare themselves lord of it and whatever lives on it to be their subjects. Mostly though, they do absolutely no “leading” whatsoever and their “subjects” just live their lives as if nothing changed (often without even realizing they now have a “lord”). Some are beneficial to their subjects, some exploit them, some treat them like pets or livestock, it depends on the individual :D

Nah, it’s a power move two-fold by Sphinxy. One, she’s teaching her cubs to not hurt ponies so they can better steal their crops, and two, she’s winning Nammy over with cuteness so she won’t try and stop them XD
