It is highly likely that a youtube red subscriber would reupload them on another site if that happens, the same way people upload tv rips, dvd/blu-ray rips, and downloadable purchases.

Better YouTube than a dying TV channel. In fact, much better. Kids watch everything on YT these days.
I do have to question why YouTube
I’m pretty confident the reason Hasbro brought Boulder was to help push more merch-driven shows.
And given track records, it makes a lot more sense to keep the pony show experience at DHX - the one driving the brand, and give the new studio the version that doesn’t have to meet the same expectations.
And I should note that I think the initial summer shorts were fine, just a bit sloppy in animation, but that’s all learning the ropes. (Look at some S1 pony shows versus S7. Same thing).
