Or with high magic - I think if often explained, that Pegasi (or, in that case, harpies?) use magic as to… help them fly. By making them lighter or otherwise… well, that depends.

I actually only did the backflip because a person in my Discord server mentioned it would look cool with a stunt/some stunts added in there as well, instead of just being a straight flight cycle.
