This is true, but I’m left to wonder why people like it?
People have different likes with the TF2/MLP crossover, you know?
Freakin’ anons, making works of fanfiction art and posting them in the comments of works of drawn art.
Gilbert gottfried’s*
O.k…
if you reed the comment in Gilbert gottfried voice it fits. right?
Just making sure I didn’t need to call the stallions in white coats with the happy pills, you know?
It was a joke.
What planet are you from, dude? What you just said came out like the most alien language I’ve ever heard.
The internet has enough clopfics as it is.
This guy gets it.
Hey, no worries, yo. The way I see it, things like this are only an argument if we get angry. Otherwise, it’s still a debate =) .
In fact… yeah, I’ll throw you a bone. Seeing as how you support Snipershy, I will admit, a lot of the fanart that has Snipershy mixing her outfit with the “Dangerous Mission Outfit”… yes, it’s completely, super adorable.
I cannot and will not deny that.
Besides, all Shys should be as adorable as possible. Even if they’re shooting ponies in the head or healing them.
=D
If said individual you’re talking about was me then yes, I did read it.^^
This is why I prefer a ponified version of the Mercs insteand of being remplaced be the Mane 6. Not only because fitting them with the mercs is weird because they are ponies and I know that the Mane 6 are not capable to kill (Please, Fluttershy killing someone?), is because is a problem to fit them because they have a different personalities, and I mean psychologically.
Oh, I must have replied to the wrong comment. Super sorry.
With luck, maybe the individual I was trying to reply to will still read it!
This could go on forever, you know.
The Medic is no further from killing than the Sniper; he’s no further from using another man to kill another man than a man would be from using a gun to kill a man. His healing allows allies to kill for longer, his ubers allow them to kill in greater numbers, and his own tools allow him some killing power. Considering his place in the battlefield, he’s not physically far from the killing either; he’s right there.
If you want to count Medieval Mode and Mann vs Machine, killing becomes an even greater role for Medic; Projectile Shields allow him to kill robots in greater numbers, and in Medieval Mode he’s a fairly dangerous competator.
While Battle Medics are generally hated, he’s also the strongest of the three support classes in a physical confrontation (assuming the sniper isn’t skilled enough to get a head-shot on the move with his rifle and the spy doesn’t get behind him long enough to at least get a face stab).
Considering the nature of Ubers, Medic is one of the biggest causes of death in TF2; he’s not a primary target just because he heals people, you want to pick him off before he utters those three dreaded words; ‘I am charged!’
Which brings us back to the whole opinions thing.
Still, I like Fluttershy as either, really. Same with the Engineer being either Applejack or Pinkie Pie. Both work for me, given the context of the story backs it up anyway.
I’m not hard to please as long as the picture or story frames why the character is being portrayed as such.
“Sure, she can’t escape the action completely, but by her nature alone, she would likely wish to stay as far from it as possible and relegate herself to support as opposed to front-line conflict.”
Which is why some people have her as the Sniper. He’s a support class (well, not a “direct” support like Engineer or Medic, but he does pick off tough and/or important targets like Heavies, Medics, and Soldiers so his allies don’t have to put themselves in their line of fire), and he’s well behind the front-lines.
Despite *his clear insanity
Ah, but that’s the problem. It all comes down to character interpretation and what we think might correlate best between the two canons.
Despite is clear insanity (which very well could apply to just about all of the TF2 guys, bless their hearts), the Medic does feel like the best suited to Fluttershy from my standpoint. Sure, she can’t escape the action completely, but by her nature alone, she would likely wish to stay as far from it as possible and relegate herself to support as opposed to front-line conflict.
Again, it all comes down to individual taste. That’s my interpretation. Others might see it differently.
Though I must admit, regardless of my feelings towards who should represent who, this pic is adorable. If anything, I’d like to think it’s that which matters. I could be wrong, but then again, I don’t really care if I am.
Because opinions!
Medic still harms characters; he’s just not the primary harmer. He has tools geared towards injuring, bonesaws which one imagines to be singularly unpleasant, etc. Considering Medic’s ubercharges and healing effects, he’s a killer himself; he just goes about it in a somewhat different manner.
Besides, would any of the Mane 6 kill other ponies? Fluttershy is timid; she’s the element of kindness, yes, but she’s also shy and reserved. The Medic is a very shootable class, and his character is a great deal more confident than Fluttershy herself is.
Its like the artist said, there’s really no way out of the ‘killing’ thing with TF2. There’s no point asking ‘would she kill’ because if the answer is no, then she shouldn’t even be Medic, really.
I’m sure someone ships it, yo.
