Well excuse me if I came across as a bit short, but I’m so sick of systematically having people who come on fetish pictures just to complain that they don’t like it, instead of ignoring and filtering them and moving on with their lives, that I have a bit of a hair trigger when it comes to that kind of thing.
 
Though maybe a milder answer would have been more appropriate indeed, like:

Not sure how many social situations you find yourself in on a daily basis, but people tend to not like being crudely insulted after showing the least bit resistance to an idea. It could have been a completely neutral comment, but suddenly it’s met with so much resistance and toxic words, you’d almost think they directly insulted the artist.
 
It was like this guy made a passing comment at a 2 and you guys quickly responded with an 8. You’re not the gatekeepers of some important kingdom. You’re commenters on an art website. Show some restraint and courtesy to those who don’t share your exact opinions.
