I decided there wasn’t enough Gargoyles/MLP crossover art. So I made this.
And yes, I know it’s terribly drawn, but I drew it at 3 AM, so I was tired. Sue me.
Also, for those of you who are interested, here’s another fun fact: John de Lancie (voice of Discord) and Jonathan Frakes (voice of David Xanatos) were in Star Trek together! Another reason for Discord to totally trust Xanatos, right?

I don’t know. But I’d really like to see one of the Star Trek guys do a voice for MLP. And also I’d really love to see Tim Curry do a voice for MLP.
Yeah, but do we need Thomas Riker?
Well, let’s not forget that Jonathan Frakes also played a villain in Star Trek, when he played Thomas Riker, William Riker’s alternate form.
Just so we can have both Xanatos and Riker.
Oh geez, it’d be complete chaos! D:
Of course Gimli, but I though we were only talking about their roles on Star Trek. Hell, if we include Gimli we might as well also include his role as the Professor on Sliders.
(Am I the only one who remembers that show?)
Or they’d start trying to out-trickster each other and then we’d all really be in trouble

Don’t forget much smaller roles like John Rhys-Davies, who played Leonardo da Vinci in Voyager, also voiced MacBeth. Or how about Nokkar the Easter Island alien being voiced by Avery Brooks (Benjamin Sisko), and Anansi the giant spider thing voiced by LeVar Burton (Geordi LaForge)?
plus by then they’d already had Data voicing the near-omnipotent trickster demigod, so…:P
The whole time that series was on the air I kept waiting for John de Lancie to show up, but he never did. He was doing voice work by then, so I wonder sometimes why no one ever reached out to him, when there were so many other Star Trek alums. On the other hand, all the other Star Trek actors were main cast, so perhaps he was just overlooked because he was only a guest star.

Of course, she was Deanna Troi in TNG. In addition, Puck was voiced by Data, and Coldstone was voiced by Worf. There are a lot of Star Trek castmembers in this show!
