Well, actually, a lot of people do. If you’ve ever had a fever blister you have a form of it.

Yeah, I was going to say this. Something like 92% of the world’s population has herpes. It never leaves your body, it just sits dormant until something makes it flare up again. The difference is the type of herpes. Herpes-simplex is the most common one, being responsible for cold sores and the like. But most people only think of the STD ones when they hear “herpes.”
