Sigh…those downvotes make me wonder why people don’t block the Sonic tag. I mean, if you’re going to downvote what’s obviously a very high quality, non-shipping image of a sonic character with a MLP character, there’s really no pleasing you, is there?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Usually Sonic art that gets uploaded is either Sonic Character x MLP Character which makes people wince, or something more like Sonic Character vs MLP Character (which irks people who don’t enjoy seeing the characters they like being beaten). This image falls prey to neither of those trappings.

I like this evolved sense of art judgment though. People looking at the quality or lack thereof instead of mere content alone. I was always slightly disappoint to see some surprisingly decent works get secondary treatment over having a crossover character.
