Description

I usually don’t upload images like this, but this was too good not to share (but I realize it almost certainly will be removed).

There’s a YouTube channel called Modern Vintage Gamer which publishes videos about old video game systems, consoles and actual games and, quite often, how they were hacked to run copied games and things they weren’t designed for. His catchprase is “mistakes were made” and you will hear that often.

Recently he published a video called Hacking the Nintendo Wii Mini (link in the source) and there were two things that caught my eye. First is Rainbow Dash, and the next is a person named byte[] being listed in the credits. Now it could be just a coincidence, but one of Derpi’s main developers is… byte[]. I don’t know if the byte[] in the credits is “our” byte[], but… I decided to post this anyway because it’s a funny coincidence.

That Dash image is this >>1621606 in case someone wants it.

(I don’t even have a Wii Mini or in fact any console (unless you count Quake-like consoles which I’ve written many over the years). And I’m not affiliated with MVG in any way, I just like his videos.)
