This thing is Paramecium caudatum… Tho not sure what else this ART can be about…

Pinkie-mecium?

These aren’t bacteria. They’re paramecia. They’re much larger than bacteria and most species eat bacteria. That groove above Pinkie’s eartip is the “mouth”. They’re only one cell though; it’s not a real mouth, just a structure in the cell wall that serves the function of a mouth. Some of the little round dingles inside them are vacuoles of bacteria being digested. (Others are nuclei, a contractile vacuole, various protein storage structures, etc.) Interestingly, recent research seems to suggest that despite being only one cell, they’re capable of learning some simple behaviors in response to training.
